		<description>Your article is right on the money!  Especially when it comes to an old 401k being eaten away with fees.  If it weren&#039;t for company matching policies, I&#039;m not sure I would recommend EVER putting money into a 401k.  Why?  Most of the management fees are far more expensive than simple index funds you can get on your own.  So you&#039;re better off putting your money in a Roth IRA or Traditional IRA, while investing in something with lower expense ratios than the traditional 401k policy will offer.</description>
